What this site does
- It sets no cookies.
- It runs no analytics, visitor counters or tracking pixels.
- It has no forms, so it can't collect anything you type.
- It loads every file from havihi.digital itself. There are no web fonts, embedded videos, maps or social buttons from other companies.
- It uses no JavaScript.
Some pages link to other sites, such as LinkedIn, GitHub and recordist.app. When you follow one of those links, that site's own privacy policy applies.
What our web host sees
Like any website, this one is delivered by a hosting company. It receives the technical details every browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type. It needs them to deliver pages and to protect the site from attacks.
We haven't turned on any analytics or visitor reports at the host. The site also asks your browser to share as little as possible when you follow a link away. The other site learns that you came from havihi.digital, but not which page.
When you email us
Email to hello@havihi.digital is handled by our business email provider, whose servers may be outside Canada. We use what you send only to reply and to do any work you ask us to do.
We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your details. We keep messages while we're talking or working together, and after that for as long as Canadian law requires for business records.
Please don't send passwords or health information by email. If a project needs sensitive data, we'll agree a safer way to handle it before you share anything.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@havihi.digital and we'll reply. Canadian privacy law gives you these rights, and we're glad to help you use them.
Who's responsible
